The Old Church Wedding Video Tamborine Mtn | Tim and Lee

Bjorn Schmal • September 16, 2023

Tim And Lee Were Married At The Old Church On Tamborine Mountain, In A Classic Chapel On The Mountain.

What a stunning wedding it has been together with Andy (A Thousand Miles Photography) At the Old Church, Tamborine Mountain, one of the first weddings since The Grand Chameleon's opening.

Stepping into the Old Church Venue up on Tamborine Mountain with my camera gear, I'm like a kid in a candy store, ready to capture some epic wedding magic! This place oozes history and romance from every nook and cranny – we're talking Gazebo, Love Heart Deck, Iron & Wisteria Courtyard, and even a fancy Roman area with Italian lion bouncers.

So, here's the deal – I'm not just a videographer; I'm your love story DJ. I'm all about capturing those belly laughs, teary-eyed Aunt Mildred moments, and those "oh my gosh, did you see that?!" dance moves. And guess what? I didn't just snap videos of Tim and Lee's big day – we went to the hang glider lookout for their lovey-dovey shoot, making memories.

Now picture this: The Grand Chameleon reception center turns into a swanky candlelit wonderland where guests are sipping, dipping, and busting moves. Nature's backdrop, their love story, and my camera skills – that's the winning trifecta right there. Enjoy watching some reel memories!

Tim and Lee selected my Love Story Package, which includes a 10min Highlight Film, Full Ceremony Film, and Reception video with Speeches. If you're interested in getting information about my packages, get in touch!

As a wedding photographer based in South East Queensland, I've had the privilege of capturing weddings in some of the region's most stunning locations, from the lush hinterland to the beautiful beaches and vibrant city venues. One of my favourite things to photograph is the beautiful floral arrangements that couples select to complement their big day. Flowers add so much personality and charm to your wedding day, and when you choose blooms that are in season, they’ll not only look fresh but also help create a harmonious connection with the natural beauty of Queensland. Whether you're planning a beachside ceremony on the Gold Coast, a garden wedding in Brisbane, or a mountain retreat in the Scenic Rim, here’s your guide to choosing the right wedding flowers based on the season, and how to work with a florist to create the perfect arrangements within your budget.

Weddings are, without a doubt, one of the most exciting and joyful days of your life. But even the most organised and calm couples can feel a little bit of pre-wedding anxiety creeping in as the big day approaches. As a wedding photographer based in South East Queensland, I’ve seen firsthand how nerves can sometimes take over, even when everything is running smoothly. The key to enjoying your wedding day and staying calm in the midst of all the excitement is to have a plan for managing stress. I’m sharing some simple, effective tips to help you handle wedding day nerves, stay grounded, and be fully present as you say "I do"—whether you're tying the knot in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, or the beautiful hinterland of the Scenic Rim.
