Gabbinbar Homestead Wedding Video Toowoomba | Kiris and Hilton

Bjorn Schmal • May 27, 2023

In the embrace of a romantic, foggy afternoon, Kiris and Hilton's love story unfolded in an enchanting day at Gabbinbar Homestead.

Gabbinbar Homestead has got to be one of the most romantic venues in South East Queensland, and on Kiris and Hilton’s wedding day, it transformed into a scene straight out of a fairytale. As the mist delicately blanketed the surroundings, the venue took on an ethereal ambiance that set the perfect stage for a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

Kiris, originally from New Zealand, chose to tie the knot in Queensland because most of her family is based here. This decision turned out to be perfect, as the lush grounds of Gabbinbar provided an endless array of photo opportunities. From manicured gardens to charming historic architecture, every backdrop contributed to the creation of a truly magical video and photoshoot.

The day began with a unique and memorable entrance: Hilton arrived at the wedding in a truck, a nod to his personality and love for adventure. This unexpected arrival set the tone for a wedding that was both heartfelt and joyfully unconventional.

As the evening approached, the grounds of Gabbinbar Homestead came alive with twinkling fairy lights and glowing lanterns. These elements not only added to the romantic ambiance but also provided stunning visuals for the photos and videos. The interplay of light and shadow created a dreamlike quality that perfectly complemented the couple’s love story. Surrounded by loved ones, Kiris and Hilton danced the night away under a canopy of fairy lights. The soft glow of the lights flickered around them, capturing the essence of their love and the enchanting beauty of the night. It was a wedding videographer's paradise; every glance, every touch, every laugh was a photogenic.

Working with the photographer was a joy, as we collaborated to encapsulate the essence of Kiris and Hilton’s love in breathtaking videos. The delicate mist, the shimmering lights, and the joyous atmosphere all came together to create a visual narrative that was both captivating and heartwarming. May your lives continue to be filled with the same magic and love that illuminated your wedding day.
